Searching the qualitative research literature
Participants will:
- Identify the key electronic information sources for qualitative literature
- List the key study designs used for qualitative research and the terminology used in these studies
- Develop a focused question and search strategy
- Search medical and social science databases for qualitative studies, including CINAHL, Medline, ‘Social Care Online’ and the Campbell Collaboration Database
- Apply simple filters to help identify qualitative studies
