Scoping the literature for your research project
Participants will:
- Understand what a scoping literature search is including: its importance in developing a research protocol and/or a funding bid
- Know how to develop a focused, answerable research question and plan a scoping search
- Understand which databases might be used
- Understand how to use subject headings, free-text searching, Boolean operators and truncation in searching
- Be able to apply simple filters to reduce search results and improve their quality and relevance
